9th August 2017, Salesian College, Siliguri: The NSS unit, Salesian College Siliguri observed the Swachhta Pakhwada as desired by the University of North Bengal by cleaning the campus on 9th August 2017. The total numbers of members present were around 15. The college cleaning as an initiative to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was conducted through the volunteers of NSS by a brief introduction to the programme Swachhta Pakhwada and then cleaning in and around the campus from 9am.
